Torah Portion Prayers

Jewish people before starting the Torah Portion on Sabbath (Saturday is when they have the Torah Portion, but Sabbath starts at Friday sunset and lasts till Saturday sunset).

It consists of reading the Parasha (five books of Moshe/Moses), the Haftarah (the books of Prophets), and for us in the Torah Keeper which we are the Messianic Apostolic Prophetic Ministry – We also include the New Testaments because we believe YESHUA is the MESSIAH that had come and died for our sins, and WHOM will come again.

Below are the orders of how we do the Torah Portion, and they are taught by our Father Prophet and Apostle from Israel – Ezra. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us.

  • Beginning of the Torah Portion
Psalm 1 Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, and has not stood in the way of sinners, and has not sat in the seat of scorners. But his delight is only in the Torah of YEHOVAH, and he meditates in His Torah day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of waters, which will give its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf will not wither, and all which he does will prosper. Not so are the wicked, but they are only as chaff which the wind drives about. On account of this the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For YEHOVAH is knowing the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish. Declaration Psalm 19 The Torah of YEHOVAH is perfect, converting the soul. The Testimony of YEHOVAH is sure, making the simple wise. The precepts of YEHOVAH are right, rejoicing the heart. The Commandments of YEHOVAH are clear, giving light to the eyes. The fear of YEHOVAH is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of YEHOVAH are true, they are righteous altogether. They are more precious than gold, even much fine gold, and sweeter than honey and drops from the honeycomb. Also Your servant is warned by them; in keeping of them is great reward. Who can discern errors? Acquit me from secret faults. Also withhold Your servant from arrogant sins; do not let them rule over me; then I shall be complete, and I shall be innocent from great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O YEHOVAH, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 92 A Song for the Sabbath Day. It is good to give thanks to YEHOVAH, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to make Your mercy known in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night; on the ten strings, and on the harp; on the lyre with sounding music. For You have rejoiced me with Your work, O YEHOVAH; I will shout in the works of Your hands. How great are Your works! O YEHOVAH, Your intentions are very deep. An animal-like man does not know; a fool does not understand this. When the wicked flourish like grass, and all the evildoers blossom, it is for them to be destroyed forever. But You, O YEHOVAH, are exalted forever. For, lo, Your enemies, O YEHOVAH; for, lo, Your enemies shall perish; all the evildoers shall be scattered. But You will lift up my horn as the wild ox, and I will be anointed with fresh oil. And my eye shall look on my enemies; my ears shall hear the evildoers who rise up against me. The righteous shall flourish as the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those planted in the house of YEHOVAH, in the courts of our Elohim, shall flourish. They shall bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and fresh, to declare that YEHOVAH is upright, my Rock! And in Him is no evil. Psalm 93 The LORD YEHOVAH reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD YEHOVAH is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O LORD YEHOVAH, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The LORD YEHOVAH on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD YEHOVAH, for ever.

The Closing of the Torah The Torah is raised for all to see as the following is chanted: וְזֺאת הַתּוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר שָׂם מֺשֶׁה לִפְנֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: עַל פִּי יהוה בְּיַד מֺשֶׁה V’zot ha-Torah ashwer sahm Moshe lif’nay B’nay Yisrael al pee YEHOVAH b’yad Moshe. And this is the Torah that Moses placed before the Children of Israel, at the command of YEHOVAH, by the hand of Moses. (Deut. 4:44; Numbers 9:23) With the Ark remaining open, all chant together: Bring us back to YOU O YEHOVAH, and we shall come, renew our days as of old. (Proverbs 3:17-18; Lam. 5:21) The Torah is now tied and covered. The Ark is Closed and All Are Seated.
